Description
Assists the Pilot Supervisor with duties associated with flight preparation and operation and safely operates a fixed-wing aircraft for the purpose of transporting company employees. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Pilots airplanes, often in collaboration with the Pilot Supervisor. Determines flight routes based on scheduling requirements and weather patterns. Ensures aircraft are appropriately maintained and prepared for flight prior to departure. Maintains logs and reports as required. Maintains navigation manuals and charts, ensures the comfort and safety of passengers, and assumes the responsibility of the Pilot Supervisor if necessary. Job Specifications: (Knowledge, skills, and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job) Performs work under minimal supervision. Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 2 to 4 years of experience. Requires an airline transport certificate.
