The Senior Literacy Product Specialist is an important sales role that helps the sales team sell Amplify solutions more effectively. The position provides support in three key areas: assisting with contentexpertise on strategic sales opportunities, delivering specialized presentations and training to districts,and building capacity by developing and leading internal training for Amplify teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Partnership: Work in a strategic partnership with sales staff and leadership to develop and close high-value sales opportunities, focusing on complex accounts and large-scale deals.

  • Customer Engagement: Partner with educators and product specialists to support active sales

  • opportunities and guide them through the curriculum review process.

  • High-Stakes Presentations: Present the suite of Amplify Literacy materials to high-level administrators, district leaders, and large teacher committee teams.

  • Sales Support: Guide the development of sales support materials, ensuring they reflect the most effective positioning and messaging for Amplify's programs.

  • Advanced Training and Expertise: Lead product training and professional development for the sales team, leveraging deep expertise to serve as a top-tier Amplify-branded trainer and presenter.

  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain advanced knowledge and expertise in K-8 educational trends, particularly in the Science of Reading, to inform sales strategies and act as a key resource for the team.

  • Team Collaboration: Work both independently and collaboratively across different teams.

  • Problem-Solving: Successfully troubleshoot and problem-solve as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 10+ years of experience in K-12 education

  • K-8 classroom teaching experience

  • Expertise in the Science of Reading and Science of Writing

  • Ability to travel at least 60% of the time

  • Presentation experience, preferably as a conference speaker or professional development

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Social Media Presence and awareness - attracting followers and promoting events

  • Previous experience servicing the education market

  • Experience creating and delivering a short multimedia presentation

  • Expertise with remote meeting platforms

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English

  • Understanding of the educational marketplace and industry trends

  • Understanding of Amplify's products

  • Advanced degree and teaching credential (past or current)

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $110,000.00 - $120,000.00. This role is eligible for commissions based pay.
