The Trust Analyst provides trust administration support and fulfills fiduciary responsibilities by providing basic trust administration for KPB clients and their beneficiaries. While serving on the Institutional Advisors Team collaborating effectively, providing insights and solutions to attract, retain and grow clients. Actively assists Institutional Advisors sales team with trust and agency accounts, in accordance with established policies and procedures, to a high professional standard while managing fiduciary risk. Responsible for onboarding new accounts across IA for a variety of different account types - Non-Profit, Corporate, government, organized labor, and Native American accounts. Retains and deepens profitable client relationships within the assigned revenue base. Where appropriate, may focus on an area of specialty trust expertise. Successfully identifies opportunities to enhance client relationships while using proper channel management. This is a Mobile position and requires at least 3 days in the office and the remainder work from home.

Trust Administration & Support

  • Actively assists Institutional Advisors sales team with a proactive and disciplined approach
  • Responsible for onboarding new accounts across IA for a variety of different account types
  • Reads and understands Trust Agreements and related documents for administrative purposes.
  • Reviews and maintains client information on trust accounting system and all applicable vendor system(s)
  • Applies sound fiduciary judgment to trust matters
  • Fulfills Key's fiduciary responsibilities, ensuring retention of business and reputation
  • Supports other team members with cash transactions as needed following all KPB policies and procedures.
  • Discovers, analyzes, and researches client transactions and recommend solutions as needed
  • Create and leads presentations for client reviews and RFP's
  • Assists the RFP team as needed

Client Management

  • Executes, through Salesforce or other Comprehensive Practice Management process, prioritized pro-active client contacts, per service standards
  • Identifies client needs and revenue enhancement opportunities
  • Follows-up on client issues and relays information to clients through correspondence, telephone communications and conferences.

Sales

  • Identifies and prioritizes trust and other opportunities to deepen relationships and enhance revenue
  • Presents ideas and solutions to clients and prospects, in collaboration with team members
  • Participates in professional associations to demonstrate professional credibility and expand COI relationships
  • Some travel may be required

Team Collaboration

  • Provides backup and support to other members of the team
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with other team members to ensure high quality and timely administration of assigned fiduciary accounts
  • Serves as a lead and resource for the team on projects needed

Compliance

  • Maintains compliance with all internal policies and procedures, as well as, with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Mitigates risk on individual book of business
  • Assumes accountability for all delegated work on assigned accounts
  • Keeps current on the latest developments in trust law, tax law, and other issues related to the trust business

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, accounting or finance preferred
  • Detailed oriented, ability to prioritize and able to handle fast paced demanding environment
  • General knowledge and understanding of fiduciary, financial and/or investment products and services
  • Progress towards completion of Cannon Trust Schools I, II and III or equivalent knowledge from other industry training or equivalent experience
  • Self-motivated, goal and results driven
  • Demonstrated ability to be accountable for a process and/or delivery from end to end
