What Meetings and Events contributes to Cardinal Health
Strategic Meetings & Events is responsible for the development, planning, and execution of internal and external meetings, events, and trade shows aligned with Cardinal Healths strategic business and brand objectives. TheEngagement Manager, Strategic Meetings and Events Outreachplays a critical role in driving attendance and engagement by identifying, recruiting, and confirming healthcare providers to participate in targeted programs and events.

Location - Fully remote, open to candidates nationwide

Responsibilities

  • Partner with meeting managers to align recruitment efforts with event logistics and programming.
  • Drive attendance and engagement by identifying, recruiting, and confirming healthcare providers to participate in targeted programs and events.
  • Participate in weekly internal and external planning meetings.
  • Support webinar and virtual event logistics, including attendee communications and technical coordination.
  • Assist with contract and W9 collection for recruited speakers or participants, ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

  • Ideally targeting individuals with a background (through education or work experience) in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, or related field; highly preferred
  • Targeting highly driven individuals that bring incredible passion and a team-oriented mentality
  • Attention to detail with the ability to communicate effectively (written over email and verbally) - a must
  • Experience in healthcare provider engagement, event marketing, or audience recruitment, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry, a plus but not required
  • Strong experience with CVENT, Excel, a CRM or marketing automation tools (in the meetings/events planning capacity) - a plus
  • Experience with Oncology - a plus, not required
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel on weekends as needed to support onsite event execution (up to 35%).

  • Manages multiple priorities and timelines simultaneously.
  • Work is reviewed for sound reasoning, accuracy, and alignment with compliance standards.

Anticipated Pay Range $66,500.00 - $93,400.00 USD
