POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will support the Inter-Market Supply Planning reporting into the Supply Planning Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a rolling 18-month supply plan that achieves targeted inventory and service levels. Monitor APO or OMP alerts to identify potential inventory problems through all planning horizons and coordinate efforts to resolve. Collaborate with Affiliate Supply Chain and/or 3rd party Copacker on the tactical execution of the production plan.
  • Supply plan on a 78 week horizon on a weekly basis that achieves targeted inventory and service levels. Monitor APO or OMP alerts to identify potential inventory problems through all planning horizons and coordinate efforts to resolve. Collaborate with affiliate Nestle factories and/or 3rd party Copacker on the tactical execution of the production plan.
  • Continuously work to align with Affiliate markets on the operating conditions of the factory (ies), including performance assumptions and adjustments needed. Offer suggestions and seek commitment to best meet Customer demand, ensuring high Customer Service and Freshness, while minimizing cost.
  • Develop and maintain SAP/APO/OMP Master Data, which includes materials, resources, shift definitions, and the like. Collaborate with Affiliate Nestle factories and/or 3rd party Copacker to ensure alignment of planning parameters with factory- level constraints.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the Weekly Comms Demand/Supply Review and Ensure Supply meetings as well as the Monthly Production Review; act as Process Owner of these meetings to ensure the process is an integral part of the planning and control process.
  • Continuously work to align with affiliate Nestle partner on the operating conditions of the factory (ies), including calendar and performance assumptions. Offer suggestions and seek commitment to best meet Customer demand, ensuring high Customer Service and Freshness, while minimizing cost.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Supply Chain Management field, Engineering or Business related field

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of end to end supply chain experience: production planning, intermarket planning, supply planning, Demand planning, procurement, project management. Prior planning experience strongly preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel software
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated expertise in OMP is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and manage key stakeholders
  • Able to work in an empowered team environment
  • Must have excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Negotiation skills with affiliate markets and stakeholders.
