Job Summary

Are you a results-driven sales leader with a passion for building and scaling high-performing teams? Join us as Business Development Manager (BDR) Director and take the lead in centralizing and growing our team of 10 BDRs across multiple verticals. If you thrive in fast-paced SaaS environments and want to make a direct impact on pipeline generation and revenue growth, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities



  • Centralize and lead our team of 10 BDRs currently spread across multiple verticals, ensuring alignment with company-wide go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes for prospecting, lead qualification, and opportunity handoff to Account Executives.
  • Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and career development plans for the BDR team.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to optimize lead flow, messaging, and targeting strategies.
  • Own pipeline generation targets and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds goals.
  • Leverage Salesforce and sales engagement tools to track activity, measure effectiveness, and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Hire, train, and mentor new BDRs to maintain a culture of accountability, collaboration, and success.
  • Design and implement intentional career paths that enable BDRs to successfully develop into high-performing Account Executives
  • Report on performance metrics and pipeline contribution to executive leadership.


Requirements



  • 5+ years of sales development or business development leadership experience, ideally in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling BDR/SDR teams of 5+ reps.
  • Strong knowledge of sales development best practices, outbound prospecting, and lead qualification.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data to drive team performance.


Preferred



  • Experience centralizing BDR/SDR teams across multiple business units or verticals.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, Sales Engagement) and CRM systems (Salesforce required).
  • Background working in high-growth SaaS or private equity-backed environments.

Salary Range Disclosure

The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.

Salary Range

US Remote: $150,000.00 to $200,000 USD per year
