• Lead software development teams toward a high performing state

• Create product plans and product backlogs that establish development priorities for each Agile sprint

• Collaborate with business partners to drive product development and optimize planning efficiencies

• Create and maintain a strategic product vision and roadmap that aligns to the overall corporate strategy

• Measure and assess business value of our logistics and shipping projects

• Prioritize initiatives on product backlogs, based on business and customer value, while managing stakeholder expectations

• Enable delivery teams to efficiently execute on goals and initiatives by attending key meetings and Agile ceremonies

• Communicate effectively and provide transparency with delivery teams, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders

• Continually develop product and industry knowledge, to ensure the competitiveness and success of DigiKey's logistics and shipping initiatives

• Provide timely support for the delivery teams and ensure alignment to the corporate goals and strategy

• Collaborate daily with delivery teams and key stakeholders to ensure effective product development which meets both the business and technical goals

• Perform competitive assessments of product features

• Work with cross functional business units, team members, and external business partners to define user stories for product development

• Work with Customer Insights and usability experts to design optimal transportation and shipping solutions for our customers

• Present product designs and prototypes to select focus groups

• Validate system, user, and functional test plans, to ensure that all product features work collectively as designed

• Serve as an escalation point for support and services to handle logistics and shipping related issues

• Maintain security, regulatory, and legal compliance within our logistics and shipping domains

• Ensure infrastructure readiness prior to production changes

• Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies

• Coach and mentor others on Agile philosophy

• Ensuring cross team collaboration is efficient and effective

• Partnering with leadership to develop and realize the value of Agile culture and principles

• Identifying and influencing opportunities for continuous improvement

• Leading a team to self-organization

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or relevant, equivalent work experience (Required)

• 3+ years of work experience; preferably in project management, global transportation, product ownership, and/or solution design (Required)

• Experience working with, or understanding of, integration to 3rd party systems, transportation management systems (TMS), Carrier platforms (Required)

• Experience building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders (Required)

• Experience gathering and using data to develop ROI models of alternative opportunities, and exercising data-based decision making (Required)

• Knowledge of DigiKey's logistics and shipping platforms, foreign trade zone, and inbound / outbound operations (Preferred)

• Knowledge of DigiKey's current logistics and shipping data structures and reporting capabilities (Preferred)

• Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen

• Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
