Spot Welder - 1st shift in Grafton

Monday - Thursday - 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Starting wage - $18.00 & up (depending on experience)

Job duties

Machine Setup:

Calibrate and set up resistance spot-welding equipment, including selecting and securing the correct welding tips and fixtures.

Material Preparation:

Position, align, and secure workpieces using jigs and fixtures to prepare them for welding.

Welding Operations:

Execute spot welding operations by setting and regulating machine controls for proper weld strength and cosmetic finish.

Quality Control:

Inspect workpieces before and after welding, checking dimensions and weld quality against drawings and specifications.

Maintenance:

Dress and maintain electrodes and perform routine maintenance on the spot-welding equipment.
