What does a Director of Finance, Logistics at Swire Coca-Cola do?
A strategic finance business partner for Logistics Operations (3 Regions, and 4 sub-functions including Transportation, Fleet, Planning and Customer Asset Management). Responsible for providing financial leadership and analysis to optimize cost, profitability and drive overall business performance. This position will ensure effective management over budget and capital expenditure process, driving forward looking projections, financial analysis supporting business goals, and continuous process improvement and enhancement initiatives. A key member of the Logistics Leadership Team responsible for providing strategic guidance to deliver annual productivity. Reports to the VP Finance with a dotted line to the Logistics Executive team member.


Responsibilities:



  • Dynamic business partner to leadership and provide financial guidance and support Logistics Regions and sub-functions
  • Collaborate with the logistics leadership team to drive financial performance
  • Communicate financial concepts in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand and drive desired behaviors and decisions
  • Lead month end analysis and provide comprehensive financial and statistical results to Logistics leadership
  • Develop and expand financial literacy and business acumen of logistics leadership
  • Mentor and lead a team of 5 - 7 Finance managers focused on driving
  • results
  • Identify and nurture leadership potential among direct reports to build a pipeline of future leaders within the organization
  • Work with team and business partner to establish and maintain effective controls environment
  • Analyze and interpret financial and operational results and deliver insights to optimize performance.
  • Drive site-level forecasting process, identifies risks and opportunities and proactively partner with logistics leadership to develop solutions.
  • Ensure coherency in short and long-term forecast.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology to facilitate analytical insight processes more effectively
  • Matrix accountability for developing and delivering Logistics business plan, including operational synergies (Annual spend $500M)
  • Develop and improve performance-based metrics and collaborate with logistics leadership on site-wide continuous improvement.
  • Steward $50-75M capital budget for distribution centers including development of ROI and post-implementation analysis.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance or other related field of study required
  • Master's Degree MBA preferred
  • CPG experience preferred
  • Business Partnering experience preferred
  • 10+ years financial analysis and leadership required
  • Leadership skills ability to influence a team of cross functional professionals and manage team
  • Strong organizational and change management skills
  • Excellent financial acumen including strong analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills
  • Technical accounting, high level analytical skills, and advanced Excel skills
