As a member of the Business Intelligence team, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be the conduit between the BI customers and BI Team, focusing on, but not limited to, production support and new report creation. This position will require high energy, and multi-tasking in supporting its internal customers.

Responsibilities of Position:



  • Participate in the implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including report requirements gathering, report creation and Quality Testing, User Acceptance Testing all new reporting
  • Provide support for BI, troubleshoot and research data anomalies, report modifications and other issues that may arise related to reporting and data quality and recommend/implement corrective actions
  • Support the BA or Project Manager in the execution of projects
  • Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign with IT and business
  • Provide support as it relates to Cognos and SAC specifically but not exclusively reporting and access
  • Provide data analysis in support of user requirements or problems as they relate to BI environment
  • Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, work flow analysis, user guides, and functional specification documents
  • Support internal customers and BI Team in investigation of data issues, working with business and source system application owners to identify root cause
  • Perform job duties in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies
  • Create and maintain documentation for existing architecture, data dictionaries, future data warehouse architecture and business intelligence reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in designing the solution



Physical Requirements in a Regular Workday:



  • Frequently lifting/carrying a max of 10lbs
  • Rarely pushing/pulling a max of 20lbs
  • Continuous Sitting in Office Environment



Additional Working Conditions/Aspects:



  • Ability to travel between offices, as required
  • Ability to work flexible hours; overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays
  • Must be available for 24-hour emergency calls
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language

Education
High School (required)
General Education Diploma of Newspaper / Magazine (preferred)
Associates of Relevant field (required)
Bachelors of Relevant field (preferred)
