We are seeking a junior paralegal in our Baltimore office to work with lawyers both inside and the department to provide the highest quality of legal assistance to our clients. This position is hybrid and offers a work schedule of 3 days a week in the office.

Your Role:

As a junior paralegal within our Finance your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with due diligence, preparation of documents and assistance with closing.

  • Assisting with title and survey on real estate finance transactions.

  • Preparing routine transaction documents.

  • Assisting with researching federal, state and local laws.

  • Filing UCCs and other required filings.

  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Skills: A high degree of proficiency in computer applications and document management system, including but not limited to MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Adobe PDF, NetDocs, and other practice area databases, as appropriate.

  • Teamwork Skills: Works collaboratively with team members on a regular basis.

Required Experience:

A 4-year college degree or paralegal certificate. Significant relevant work experience will be considered in place of a college degree. An intermediate level of technical proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (including Excel) and document management systems. Must be able to work overtime as needed.

The salary range for this position is from $65,000-$75,000, which reflects the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
