The Division of Allergy and Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein) is seeking candidates to join our dynamic and growing faculty. CHAM is a quaternary care, academic children's hospital in New York City, serving the diverse patient population of the Bronx, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley. Our division is seeking an American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) Certified or Eligible Allergist/Immunologist to join our faculty. The Division currently includes 5 full time physicians, 4 fellows, 1 nurse practitioner, 3 nurses, and other support staff to service a very active clinical program with over 6,000 outpatient visits per year at three office settings. We manage the spectrum of allergic and immunologic diseases including but not limited to food allergy, asthma, primary/secondary immunodeficiency, allergic rhinitis, and atopic dermatitis while maintaining academic appointments at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a leader in medical education and a resource for translation or basic science research. The successful candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic clinician, work effectively as part of a team, participate in fellow, resident and medical student education and engage in scholarly activity as well as research.
Leadership opportunities are available for qualified candidates. Scholarly productivity expectations will be aligned with the candidate's interests and the division's mission. In addition to a competitive salary of $200,000-$300,000 commensurate with academic rank, we offer the opportunity to enhance compensation with clinical productivity incentives and bonuses. We offer a generous benefits package including 403b retirement plan with employer match, 457 plan, tuition reimbursement, long term disability, short term disability, life insurance, paid malpractice, health, dental and vision benefits, and funds for CME activities.
