Part-Time Forester/Vegetation Management Specialist
Job Description Dewberry is currently seeking a part-time Forester/Vegetation Management Specialist for our Environmental Services Department in the Parsippany, NJ office. Preferred experience includes management of forestry inventory levels, natural resource characterization knowledge, and management of forestry programs. The individual will assist professionals with work associated with aspects of forestry, natural resource inventory and analysis, permitting and mitigation. In addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to all employees Responsibilities Primary responsibilities for this career opportunity include providing horticultural and forestry management knowledge where needed for project planning or implementation. The successful individual will assist in the desktop review and/or field assessment of wooded natural resources for various types of projects, and help conduct soil, hydrology and vegetation inventories/plant identifications, as applicable. Required Skills & Required Experience
Bachelor of Science in Forestry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Studies or related field.
