Acara Solutions is hiring a Quality Specialist for our client in the Torrance/Long Beach area. This is a contract role lasting approximately 9 months and will be fully onsite with a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off). Pay range is $45-52/hr, DOE.

This temporary role will be responsible for creating and uploading digital inspection criteria, ensuring accurate data integration, and supporting the Quality Engineering team in establishing sustainable digital inspection workflows. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact by enabling a fully digitized inspection process that delivers significant cost savings, efficiency, and compliance benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and upload inspection templates and criteria into Infor LN 10.8 CE for close to 3,000 items.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of inspection data entered into the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers and inspectors to interpret inspection requirements and translate them into digital workflows.
  • Standardize data formats for inspection entries to enable efficient retrieval, traceability, and analysis.
  • Support data migration from existing hardcopy records into digital formats.
  • Assist with validation of digital inspection processes to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving inspection data management practices.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Information Systems, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • Prior experience working with ERP systems (Infor LN or equivalent strongly preferred).
  • Knowledge of quality systems, inspection processes, or manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with statistical software (Minitab) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and IT/system administrators.
