The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:
The Nurse Coordinator RN position involves reviewing/investigating patient safety events, facilitating Quality and Safety committees, conducting RCA's.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • BSN degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a registered nurse
  • History of quality improvement, quality management, or standards required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills necessary: Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with Viso a plus
  • Three to six months training
  • Successful completion of all Orientation Programs

Preferred:

  • Prior Quality experience
  • MSN/other Master's
  • Skill in Team Facilitation, RCA and FMEA

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • CPHQ certification preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Per Diem
  • Day Shift
  • No Holidays

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate, implement and participate in the evaluation of the ongoing, functionally integrated, and systematic hospital-wide performance improvement activities.
  • Coordinates the Leadership committee, a subcommittee of the PIC.
  • Serves as a learning coach for participants.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and facilitates resolution of issue(s).
  • Assists the Director in the implementation of hospital-wide programs to ensure compliance with the standards of regulatory and accrediting agencies.
