DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Equipment Operator B, your responsibilities encompass a range of tasks essential for effective ground maintenance and the operation of various large machinery. You will be expected to possess a solid understanding of equipment maintenance, ensuring that all machinery is in optimal working condition. Your role also involves engaging in activities related to range and training land, which may include reading technical prints and conducting project estimations to assess the scope and resources needed for specific tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for inspecting equipment as necessary to guarantee safety and functionality. Your work will require you to perform various manual labor tasks, such as loading and transporting equipment to designated locations, snow removal, grass cutting, and the proficient use of both hand and power tools to complete assigned projects efficiently.

- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience or training.
Special Requirement:
Condition of Employment:
- You must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tank endorsement and air brake restriction removed which is not under suspension.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able and willing to work in Annville, Lebanon County, PA.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience operating wheeled/tract front-end loaders.
