Were looking for a Manager, TIS Business Engagement and Projects to lead critical initiatives that support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our energy infrastructure. In this key leadership role, you'll guide cross-functional teams and spearhead major projects in Pipeline Control Operations (SCADA) and Operational Technology (OT). As a trusted advisor to our business customers, you'll play a vital part in aligning technology with operational goals, regulatory compliance, and long-term strategy. What you will do: Business Engagement:
- Serve as the Technology & Information Services (TIS) liaison and business relationship manager (BRM) to senior leadership and managers of gas utilities control centers, pipeline operations, automation, and compliance business functions.
- Lead the development of multiyear technology roadmaps and aligned with Enbridge's overall strategic priorities and business unit's business and operational priorities.
- Lead and direct efforts to turn business and regulatory requirements into business cases, capital allocations and actionable technology solutions.
- Facilitate and lead development of innovative technological solutions to meet enterprise critical initiatives, including digital transformation and infrastructure modernization.
- Liaise with groups inside and outside of OT-SCADA department including TIS Infrastructure & Network services, Business Applications, Cyber, and Operations groups.
Project Delivery Leadership:
- Work collaboratively with and/or on behalf of the Director, OT-SCADA to accomplish scope, goals and output of the portfolio and associated projects to support business goals.
- Lead the delivery of high-impact SCADA and OT technology projects, from initiation through execution and transition to operations (TTO).
- Accountable for management of major initiatives including upgrades, transformation and innovations.
- Supervise and manage project planning, resources, risk mitigation, and quality assurance for execution of multiple concurrent projects.
- Handle vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations (e.g., PHMSA, TSA, CRM, etc.).
- Manage multiple project streams and lead project managers, architects, subject matter authorities, and partners.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Manage and provide leadership to a team of SMEs, PMs, business analysts, and technical contributors.
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
- Drive accountability, collaboration, and clarity across project teams and customer groups.
- Facilitate successful resolution of outstanding concerns or issues within the program and its related projects, escalating as appropriate.
M&A and Systems Integration:
- Support integration of SCADA and OT systems following mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
- Lead due diligence and rationalization efforts to ensure operational continuity and compliance.
- Manage transitions of control room systems, networks, and associated data pipelines into enterprise standards.
- Responsible for status reporting and advisement to Director, USUI OT-SCADA on risks and strategies to resolve.
Who you are: You have:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in delivering IT/OT projects and/or business engagement and critical initiatives in addition to 3-5 years of experience in a people leader/leadership role coupled with a bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering or a related subject area
- Industry domain experience in utilities, oil & gas, or critical infrastructure in addition to an excellent eye for business, communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with senior leaders to develop roadmaps and solutions to meet the business units and organizational goals
- Experience managing budgets, including forecast, spending and cost management

- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation
- Prior experience with M&A, Divestitures, and/or Systems Integrations
Working Conditions:
- Work performed in typical office environment and/or home related to 24 X 7 operational response requirements
- Must be willing to travel as needed and critical business requirements require some staff to be on call. Senior leaders (to include this role) are called as needed
- Stress levels can be above normal as the work is highly visible, and decisions affect large groups of collaborators
