Department:COM | Geriatrics Geriatric EducationDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The AGEC Education Coordinator will be the lead liaison for AGEC educational program development and related activities. He/she will utilize an online learning management system to create and develop educational objectives, learning modules, and corresponding competency frameworks/evaluations designed to facilitate online student training and educational events. He/she will develop appropriate learner assessment/evaluation tools, provide interpretation of such assessments, and develop recommendations/implementation/action plans based on said data regularly. He/she will be responsible for continued updates to AGEC online courses, providing administrative support and maintaining and updating the learning management system, and implementing course/module changes based on student educational outcomes and data evaluation. He/she will maintain competencies in new educational resources, trends, and technologies, and will stay abreast of the Age and Dementia-Friendly Health System's 4Ms Framework updates and be able to do community presentations. The AGEC Education Coordinator will be involved in GWEP-related educational events and activities, including coordination with GWEP academic partners and faculty/students/residents/mentors involved in GWEP programs/activities and/or clinical educational experiences.
