Duke University Hospital 2301 Erwin Rd, Durham, NC 27705 Job Summary Administer anesthetics to render patients insensible to pain during surgical, obstetrical and other medical procedures. High acuity, high volume OB unit where CRNAs place blocks for labor management and operative deliveries, help manage the labor deck, and care for antepartum, peripartum, and postpartum anesthetic needs. Collaborative and collegial ACT model where exceptional OB skills can be developed and maintained. Opportunity to precept SRNAs on their high acuity OB rotation. Schedules available for full time OB, or mixed OB and main OR practice. OB shifts are 0630-1900, 1830-0700 daily. 24-hour schedule tracks available but not required. Night shift component to all shift types. If tracks include 3 nights/cycle- supplemental pay available as part of our weekend/night incentive program. All schedule types qualify for the $15,000 trauma stipend." Job Responsibilities and Duties
