- The Funds Transfer Product Processing Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for processing various clients' capstock, expenses, and other cash transactions.
- In addition, the specialist is responsible for cash clearing account reconciliations, cash breaks resolution, and collateral and alts transactions.
- The position will also need monitoring group mailboxes and inquiry resolution.
- Accurately process clients' cash transactions.
- These include Capstock, expenses, wires, book transfers, expects, and FX.
- Meet all client deliverables in accordance with Funds Transfer procedures and controls.
- Research and resolve all client cash inquiries.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to internal and external clients.
- Process FT Compliance/ Blocked account transactions, Collateral transactions, and Alts Payment transactions.
- Promptly escalate all issues to management.
- Meet all client deliverables in accordance with Funds Transfer procedures and controls.
- Demonstrate quality working relationships with others in the group and internal parties.
- Demonstrate responsiveness to client needs and a proactive approach toward problem avoidance.
- Communicate professionally and constructively with team members, clients, and internal parties.
- Demonstrate and display teamwork with co-workers by assisting in daily responsibilities, valuing differences, building positive work relationships, and demonstrating flexibility.
- Identify, escalate, and communicate risks appropriately.
- Ensure all instructions are appropriately processed promptly and accurately while adhering to the client's policies and procedures and the various processing deadlines.
- Escalate unclear instructions to management.
- Making recommendations for control improvements.
- Promptly and accurately follow new or updated procedures.
- Help reduce the number of errors, receivables, and E&Os by suggesting control procedures or introducing automation.
- Demonstrate responsiveness to inquiries by responding promptly with thoughtful solutions that prevent problems and provide quality service.
- Seek to understand all processes, procedures, and practices; challenge those that don't make sense.
- Identify opportunities to improve the FT product processing.
- Be aware of market changes and deadlines impacting cash processes/settlements.
- Optimize productivity, while balancing the need to meet each client's deadlines.
