Electrical Engineer

Acara Solutions seeks an Electrical Engineer for our client in Canonsburg, PA.

• This role involves designing and developing complex analog circuits and implementing VHDL code for hardware description.
• Design and analyze AC-DC and DC-DC power systems and power control.
• Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware.
• Design and develop analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and signal conditioning circuits.
• Develop and implement VHDL code for hardware description and design.
• Design and troubleshoot high-speed digital circuits and systems.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in power system design:
  1. DC/DC:
     • Buck
     • Boost
     • LDO
  2. AC/DC
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with multilayer PCB design.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-speed digital design.

• Master's Degree.
• Experience in the automotive, medical, or defense industries.
• Proficiency with communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
• Design of safety-significant circuits.
• Background in automotive, medical, or defense industries.
• Proficiency in VHDL for hardware description and design.
• A good background in power system design, electrical hardware integration, troubleshooting, and high-speed digital design.
