Electrical and Engine System Supplier Operations Director- will be responsible for leading a team of Supplier Quality Engineers focused on propulsion and chassis adaptation commodity. The director will need to be able to strategically align with cross functional teams (MFG, Quality, ENG) to successfully launch and maintain (cradle to grave) commodities that include PIMs, eMotors, Battery Modules, Engine Control Modules, and other mechatronic components associated with the propulsion system.

The Electrical and Engine System Supplier Operations Director will need to be a strong leader with internal and external partners including Supplier Leadership. The mission will be to maintain world class quality and quality planning to drive continuous improvement with the focus on delivering at rate with quality parts.

The selected candidate will be expected to establish effective working relationships, founded on trust and transparency, with our internal and external partners. Sound judgment, excellent communication skills and the ability to drive decision making through strong presentations skills with a goal of influencing leadership is desired.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the following areas: Business, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in Quality, Product Development, or a related field
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work within, as well as lead, cross-functional teams
  • Able to meet aggressive deadlines and be available to support travel throughout North America (60%)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Master of Business Administration
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Shainin System Red X/ Defect based problem solving
  • Strong interest in automotive industry
  • Preference for a clear understanding of electrical powertrains and/or engine system
