About the Job At JLL, we are driving sustainability through everything that we do, across all service lines and job positions. Specifically, we are growing our Sustainability practice to drive end-to-end sustainability solutions in real estate, from site selection to zero waste. As a member of the JLL Sustainable Operations team, you will support coordination of the implementation of the waste management strategy and supporting processes, programs, targets, reports, and projects to achieve scope of work delivery and goals. Key responsibilities include: * Strategic Program Leadership: Provide strategic support to sustainable operations and cross-functional teams while developing and leading comprehensive waste and water management initiatives across commercial real estate portfolios, including project timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables ensuring programs meet client expectations and sustainability goals * Subject Matter Expertise & Stakeholder Collaboration: Demonstrate deep expertise in waste stewardship, water stewardship, circular economy, water equity, and resiliency while collaborating with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to execute resource management initiatives that meet or exceed sustainability goals across diverse industries * Technical Assessment & Data Management: Conduct forensic waste audits, water assessments, sustainability program evaluations, and gap analyses while presenting qualitative and quantitative results utilizing complex data sets and improving data collection processes to support analytics and financial monitoring * Policy Development & Documentation: Create comprehensive reporting, trainings, playbooks, and policies related to waste reduction, water conservation, reuse strategies, and integrated resource management approaches for large global portfolios including both owned and tenant-controlled spaces * Innovation & Compliance: Research and implement innovative strategies including zero waste, zero wastewater, xeriscaping, grey water reuse, reverse logistics, and emerging sustainability certifications while staying current on industry trends and regulations to ensure program optimization and compliance, strategies including zero waste, zero wastewater, xeriscaping, grey water reuse, reverse logistics, and emerging sustainability certifications * Regulatory Compliance & Industry Relations: Stay current on industry trends and regulatory issues to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations while optimizing relationships with utility, municipal, and technology partners and interfacing with external industry associations and regulatory agencies * Cross-Functional Integration & Implementation: Establish strong working relationships across JLL service lines to elevate sustainability mission, manage stakeholder changes, identify upstream Desired Experience:
