A day in the life...

As a Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for the administration, development, delivery, and logistical support of all our training and development programs. Your role is central to ensuring the smooth and effective execution of our learning initiatives, from scheduling and communication to material preparation and post-training evaluation and documentation.

What you will be doing...



  • Program Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate all aspects of training logistics, including scheduling sessions, booking training rooms, and managing technical requirements.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for training-related inquiries. Communicate program details, schedules, and pre-work requirements to participants, trainers, and managers.
  • Materials & Resources Management: Prepare, print, and distribute training materials, manuals, and aids. Ensure all resources and equipment are available and in working order for each session.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) Administration: Manage our LMS, including creating course schedules, enrolling participants, tracking attendance and completion, and running reports.
  • Vendor & Trainer Coordination: Liaise with internal subject matter experts and external training vendors to schedule sessions and ensure they have the necessary information and resources.
  • Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records. Generate reports on training activities, attendance, and feedback to measure program effectiveness.
  • Feedback & Evaluation: Administer post-training surveys and compile feedback for trainers and program managers to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Budget Support: Assist in tracking training-related expenses and processing invoices to ensure adherence to the departmental budget.
  • Onboarding Support: Collaborate with the HR team to schedule and coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding training sessions.


While on the plant floor, you will be expected to:



  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and maintain compliance with food safety standards.
  • Complete and follow FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements, ensure consumer safety, and support the plant's food safety and quality objectives.
  • Promptly report and take appropriate action on any observed or potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities by notifying the designated plant supervisor, in accordance with your role and responsibilities.
  • Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company's Food Safety Culture through engagement and actions aligned with your role.

(Basic Qualifications)



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within an HR or training department.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Customer-centric mindset with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently, with or without an accommodation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

(Preferred Qualifications)



  • Hands-on experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Cornerstone, Moodle, or SAP Litmos.
  • Familiarity with virtual training platforms and e-learning technologies.
  • Experience using e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Experience in event planning or project coordination.
  • Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
