The Logistics Analyst oversees the timely delivery of goods, maintaining delivery schedules, tracking pickups and deliveries to ensure on time service requirements are met.

This position will require the candidate to report and work from the office on a regular basis. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Rocky Mount, NC.

What you'll do as a Logistics Analyst:

• Ensure all available loads in the assigned area of responsibility have been assigned to a carrier with adequate time for pickup and delivery.
• Monitor and report driver issues that will possibly delay delivery, create safety concerns or licensing issues.
• Update and provide tracking information to the customers as well as to internal managers.
• May assign carriers to routes, handle customer complaints and investigate delivery issues. These may include damaged products and late or lost deliveries.
• Ensure that the system is updated with the most accurate information on our carrier base.
• Communicate existing or potential service problems to the applicable account manager or supervisor.
• Serve as front line problem resolution for customers' loads within the assigned region.
• Build relationships with the customers and carriers in order to promote additional business opportunities
• Monitor service providers to ensure that the company and customer service requirements are being met.
• Act as a facilitator for carrier problems resolution regarding claims, payments or other business issues
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications you'll bring as a Logistics Analyst:

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required skills, abilities, and knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized and self-starter
