Lubbock Administrator 42144BR Learning Center/SI Position Description Performs managerial work providing direction and guidance in setting and achieving goals and objectives; developing policies; reviewing guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations; establishing priorities, standards, and measurement tools for determining progress in meeting goals; coordinating and evaluating program activities; and establishing and monitoring budget. May plan, assign, and supervise the work of others. Works under limited supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. About the Department and/or College The ultimate goal of the Texas Tech Learning Center is to provide students with the resources needed to obtain academic independence and success. Through its peer-led services, the Learning Center facilitates a positive, supportive, and educational environment. Our innovative and creative programming inspire students to develop autonomous learning strategies best suited for their academic journey. Major/Essential Functions Research, gather, and assess academic content that supports and encourages student success. Create new and enhance current departmental materials to increase and improve content (for presentations, workshops, meetings, and other deliverables). Support Program Manager as requested. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in area of expertise or closely related area required. Three years of experience in planning, developing, or implementing programs/projects or research grants. Additional education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.
