  • Hoarding Intervention Services - Providing specialized support to individuals struggling with hoarding disorder, helping them regain safe and stable living conditions.
  • Emergency Assistance & Case Management - Offering relief for individuals and families facing economic hardship.

About the Role:

As Sr. Program Director, you will develop programs and teams, design policies, procedures, and strategies to meet the objectives of each program and our mission. You will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization's programmatic efforts, leading and supporting program directors, and the development of our staff to best serve those most in need. This role requires a leader who is mission-driven, will prioritize the needs of people affected by poverty, can build strong relationships, and ensure financial stability in an ever-evolving nonprofit landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to create long-term strategies for program development and growth that align with the mission to serve people impacted by poverty and respond to emerging community needs.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to program directors, offering support and guidance in their roles. Foster a culture of progressional growth by mentoring program directors, conducting performance evaluations and facilitating training opportunities
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with community partners, funders, and stakeholders to enhance program viability and collaboration. Represent the organization at community events, advocating for the mission and promoting programs to the public.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring all programs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Establish standards and metrics for program success, ensuring that programs are effective, impactful, and aligned with best practices and the mission.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability. Monitor and allocate resources effectively across programs, prioritizing based on impact and strategic importance. Assist with the Grant Writing processes.



What We're Looking For:

  • Mission-Driven Leader: A deep commitment to Catholic Charities' mission and Catholic Social Teaching, with a heart for service.
  • Proven Leadership Experience: 5 or more years of experience in social services organizations, with 3+ years of progressive experience leading and managing teams and programs/departments
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • A strong relationship builder and communicator, who is experienced in leading diverse work teams, developing an organization-wide strategy for program excellence, engaging community partners to serve those most in need.
