Overview

The Patient Servicing Representative will assist in the various activities of the pharmacy operations not requiring the professional judgment of the pharmacist. The Patient Servicing Representative will primarily be responsible for outgoing calls to customers regarding drug delivery set up and help with incoming call volume as needed.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) year of experience working in a customer service-related position or call center.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and an aptitude for working with other health care professionals.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 5lbs.

Essential Accountabilities
  • Through outbound calls, reach out to patients at the assigned timeframe to set up delivery for a patient's medication.
  • Maintain accuracy in recording information from patient at each fill and triaging to pharmacist for intervention based on responses to meet accreditation requirements. This includes but is not limited to day supply on hand, effectiveness, adverse events, and any new medications/allergies.
  • Accuracy in date, time, delivery address, and delivery method for delivery set up.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service to patients and appropriate follow ups if applicable.
  • Additional tasks include are but not limited to billing of orders, taking incoming calls during high call volume and assisting patients with inquiries during these calls and assistance with digital engagement (i.e.: process orders from web portal)
  • Work as a team member within the patient services department and all other departments to promote information sharing and continuous process improvement.
  • Must function in strict accordance with standard, written procedures and guidelines with deviation approved by the supervising pharmacist.

Hiring Compensation Range: $19.00 hourly

Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience.

In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
