Description
The Manager of Fleet is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management of Convergint's U.S. Fleet program. This role plays a critical leadership function in ensuring consistency, compliance, and scalability across all U.S. CTC locations, and is aligned with Convergint's broader operational and sustainability goals. Reporting to the Director of U.S. Real Estate, this position manages two direct reports and is accountable for driving performance, cost-efficiency, and service excellence across the fleet function. This individual will be a key contributor in fleet program evolution, including vehicle lifecycle management, vendor partnerships, policy development, and post-acquisition integration. The Fleet Manager is expected to model and promote Convergint's Values and Beliefs in every aspect of their leadership.

Key Competencies and Skills

Fleet Management:
- Lead the end-to-end management of the U.S. Fleet Program, including procurement, assignment, maintenance, compliance, and disposal of vehicles.
- Direct the annual vehicle ordering process, collaborating with business leaders and procurement to ensure accurate forecasting and timely fulfillment.
- Monitor and improve fleet utilization, managing and distributing "Available to Transfer" and POOL inventories with the goal of achieving 100% vehicle use.
- Oversee cost control through review and approval of excessive mechanical and body repairs.
- Partner with the acquisitions team to integrate fleet assets from acquired companies, ensuring seamless operational transition.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, maintaining all records for DOT fleet vehicles.
- Partner with Fleet Provider to Review, Approve, and Process lease payments via ACH, ensuring compliance with vendor requirements.
- Manage and track vehicle lease payments for CTC properties.
- Provide direct leadership and professional development support to two fleet team members, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Set goals, track performance, and support individual and team success.
- Collaborate across departments (e.g., Finance, HR, Legal, Risk) to align fleet operations with broader company initiatives.
- Leverage reporting tools and analytics to monitor fleet performance, identify trends, and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts in fleet-related processes and tools to enhance scalability and service delivery.

Qualifications
|
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years of experience in fleet administration, office support, or a related administrative field
