Overview

The purpose of this role is to support the IPMP IV, SSN(x) and Future Plant Studies program office with planning and execution of the programs under cognizance. This position requires administrative performance at the highest levels. Job functions include coordination of high-level customer meetings, presentation preparation including use of templates and content review, document preparation including use of templates and content review, scheduling meetings and developing agendas, tracking actions to closure, internal and external correspondence, business letters, ordering supplies and general office duties. The position requires excellent communication with all levels of management, numerous customers and sites. Overtime is required as necessary to support the business or Program needs. This PCTA should be viewed as an expert resource for administrative requirements.

The successful candidate will support the Program Manager and wider Program Office team. Minimum responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Direct support to the IPMP IV, SSN(x) and Future Plant Studies Program Manager, and Program Management Team.
  • Support and coordinate the preparation of Program Reviews, Program Managers Telecons (PMTs), Breakfast Club presentations, Status Meetings and various collaboration meetings.
    • Efforts include updating respective dashboards while compiling final book and managing all logistics with all stakeholders
  • Ability to set up and run meetings using Microsoft Teams
  • Support with domestic and international travel arrangements and expenses as required


Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • 0-5 years of professional related experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 years of professional related experience
  • Experience working with Naval Reactors
  • Experience working in a program office or engineering office
  • Experience dealing with EB technical and administrative departments such as Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Legal, and Accounting
  • Active security clearance
  • Word skills to include developing table of contents and linking footnotes
  • Excel skills to include pivot charts/tables and updating databases
  • Power Point skills to include developing, inserting and/or updating embedded tables


Skills

  • Proficient MS Office
  • Skills: Required skills in Power Point include updating slide master format including text boxes and page numbering, formatting of text sizes /locations / content, and formatting of tables and charts.
  • Required skills in Word include editing and updating text, formatting of fonts, header/footers, page numbers and page layouts
  • Strong verbal, written and organizational skills as well as the demonstrated ability to effectively interact with and integrate a wide range of personnel within EB and outside of the company including, Naval Reactors, Naval Nuclear Laboratories, Newport News Shipbuilding, External Suppliers,
  • Must be confident in communicating and working with senior management as well as customers
  • Must be reliable, possess a strong team orientation, be customer focused, and have a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to coordinate high-level internal and external customer meetings including invites, reservation of proper conference room, set up, supportive documents, graphic requirements, operating presentation equipment with efficiency
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under stressful situations
  • A desire to learn and grow in the position
