Job Description

You will be responsible for sustaining, improving, and developing wet etch processes in a volume manufacturing facility. Partner with Operations, Equipment Engineering Support, Integration, and R&D to deliver products on time to customer specifications. Establish process specifications for new technologies, characterize new processes and transition documented processes to production operations. Define process control systems which support high-volume production efforts while providing visibility to assure a stable, in-control process. Participate in tactical and strategic operations planning with respect to yield forecasts, equipment requirements and manning projections to support improved processes, map and probe yield. Identify opportunities to improve UPH and reduce costs and drive them to completion. Justify, procure and implement into production new process tools to satisfy technology and capacity requirements. Manage, direct and develop wet etch process technicians both technically and professionally. Define their priorities based on the overall fab needs and communicate them effectively. Interface with global counterparts to benchmark and improve wet etch processes and procedures company wide.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or other relevant engineering physical science discipline is required. Advanced degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years wet etch process engineering experience with B.S. Degree or 3 years of experience with advanced degree.
  • Knowledge of PROMIS WIP management and JMP statistical analysis software are a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of wet etch principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Akrion, DNS, SEZ, and/or Semitool wet etch tools and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to use knowledge to provide solutions to a variety of difficult problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead task teams and small to medium projects.
  • Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Experience with design of experiment techniques and data analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic and self-starter.
  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a global team or environment.
Compensation Range

$78,850 - $126,000
