DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Managed Hosting Services Manager leads the Commonwealth's enterprise cloud strategy, operations, and optimization efforts across Azure, AWS, and emerging platforms. This role oversees the design, governance, and day-to-day management of multi-cloud infrastructure, driving secure, scalable, and cost-effective adoption of cloud technologies in alignment with the Commonwealth's digital modernization goals. As the organization transitions from lift-and-shift to cloud-native and DevOps-enabled services, this leader will build operational maturity, champion platform thinking, and foster a culture of automation, accountability, continuous learning, and outreach. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, three days in office and two days at home. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Twelve years of professional information technology experience; or
- Eight years of professional information technology experience and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess at least 5 years of experience designing and implementing compute/hosting technologies that align with organizational vision and strategic direction.
- You must possess at least 7 years of experience managing diverse IT teams and projects within resource-constrained environments.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirement:
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
