Your Team, Your Impact

Join Marvell's Failure Analysis team, where we lead root cause investigations for customer returns and internal failures for all products. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external labs to drive timely resolutions and implement robust corrective actions.

What You Can Expect

  • Perform in-depth failure analysis (FA) on optical modules returned by customers or flagged internally.

  • Debug optical, mechanical, and electrical aspects of optical modules.

  • Use schematics, test equipment, switches, and fault isolation tools to identify root causes.

  • Lead cross-functional investigations and prepare customer-facing 8D reports.

  • Ensure timely FA turnaround for both internal stakeholders and external customers.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in in Optics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields and 3-5 years of related professional experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2-3 years of related experience.

  • Strong understanding of optical module design and testing methodologies.

  • Proficient in 8D problem-solving methodology.

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience debugging optical modules from component to application level.

  • Experience reviewing PCB layouts and schematics.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Background in physical failure analysis and working with external vendors or labs.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

114,190 - 171,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
