TEKSystems Job Summary As a Residential Security Alarm Technician, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential security systems including alarms, surveillance cameras, smart home devices, and access control systems. You'll work directly with customers to ensure their systems are functioning properly and meet their safety needs. Key Responsibilities * Install and configure residential alarm systems, CCTV, smart home devices, and access control systems. * Perform routine maintenance and service calls to diagnose and repair system issues. * Educate customers on system usage, features, and troubleshooting. * Ensure all installations comply with company standards and local codes. * Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and customer interactions. * Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally. Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred. * 1+ year experience in alarm system installation or a related field (electrical, low-voltage, telecom). * Familiarity with tools and equipment used in alarm system installation. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
