As a Lease Operator, the role involves assisting in operational assessments of assigned wells, equipment, and plant facilities, ensuring the submission of daily assessment reports on well production, equipment performance, and maintenance activities. The operator leads production tests, monitors minor repairs, and ensures the maintenance of an organized work environment at lease sites. The role includes reviewing operating parameters recorded into systems if SCADA is unavailable and understanding and executing emergency response plans. The operator coordinates with Engineers, Optimization Operators, and DSC/PA concerning wells and lease activities and maintains regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance. Participation in route reviews and KPI meetings. The operator directly supports optimization operators and performs semi-complex operational tasks at lease sites, contributing to efficient operations, and following all safety protocols. Mentoring and helping new lease operators in their development, optimizing production, and providing recommendations for improvement are also key responsibilities. The operator serves as a recognized technical expert in lease site operations, contributing advanced knowledge and skills to enhance team capabilities. Technical Skills: The operator reviews operating parameters recorded into systems if SCADA is unavailable, develops an understanding of operational issues at lease sites, and collaborates with maintenance teams to implement timely and effective solutions. The operator utilizes cutting-edge remote monitoring technologies for real-time data analysis, predictive maintenance, and proactive decision-making, and implements digital solutions to enhance operational reliability. The operator demonstrates proficiency in ProdView, Eagle app, Cygnet, and Pi, ensures SOPs are followed, and contributes to efficient operations. The operator acts as a mentor to less senior employees, providing guidance and may advise them in the absence of management on operational assessment of wells and equipment, contributing to team development. The operator maintains positive relationships with federal representatives, representing the organization and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
