Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the specification, installation, set-up, and calibration of instrumentation and related equipment, systems and processes. These include various Electronic, Thermal, Pneumatic, Vacuum, Hydraulic, Robotic, and Computer.
  • Maintain and if necessary, repair existing instrumentation/electronic equipment used in the plant.
  • In conjunction with Quality, Process Control, and/or Customer requests, routinely performs calibrations for all plant instrumentation.
  • Keep accurate documentation of all repairs and calibrations.
  • Maintain and develop necessary skills for the care and proper use of recording, indicating, and control instrumentation used in the plant.
  • Assist and instruct others as required in the use and operation of plant instrumentation and related systems and equipment.
  • Other Maintenance as may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must at least have A.S. Degree in Electronics or equivalent training from a technical school.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of Electronics/Instrumentation experience.
  • Must be capable of logically analyzing problems and functioning effectively with a minimum of supervision.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot systems with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
  • Must have excellent oral and written skills.
  • Must be able to work well with others.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) to apply.
