We are pleased to present the following position for your consideration:

Position Overview: The Grants Management Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the administration of grants and funding for Heritage Behavioral Health Center. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with grant requirements, managing budgets, and fostering relationships with funding sources. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and be passionate about supporting behavioral health initiatives in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grant Administration:
    Grant writing for all local, state, federal, and private grant opportunities.
    Coordinate collaboration meetings with relevant leadership team for grant consideration, grant writing to incorporate vision, goals, objectives, and project plan, and ongoing feedback.
    Coordinate the application process for grants, including the preparation and submission of proposals.
    Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, policies, and regulations. Monitor grant-funded projects to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.

  • Budget Management:
    Assist in developing and managing grant budgets in collaboration with finance and program teams.
    Track expenditures and ensure proper allocation of grant funds in collaboration with finance and program teams.
    Prepare financial reports and statements as required by funders in collaboration with finance and program teams.

  • Collaboration
    Serve as the primary point of contact between the clinic and funding agencies.
    Build and maintain relationships with internal and external community partners, stakeholders, and grantors.
    Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate project goals, outcomes, and progress with relevant teams.
    Preparation with internal team prior to contract site visits and audits.

  • Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation:
    Assist in gathering data and information for grant evaluation and auditing processes.
    Complete quarterly reports monthly and/or quarterly reports as required by the grants.
    Provide written narrative to relevant leadership on performance outcomes of quarterly reports.
    Provide performance and outcome reports to Clinical Council quarterly and monitor plans of improvement when measures are not met.
    Prepare and submit timely progress and final reports to funding agencies. Maintain organized records of all grant applications, contracts, and related documentation.
    Maintain and monitor all required grant and contract related documentation.
    Create monitoring tools to ensure 100% compliance of contract requirements and adherence checks quarterly.
    Assist in completing Utilization Review.

  • Technical Assistance:
    Provide technical assistance and training to agency staff and leaders regarding grant management practices and compliance.
    Stay updated on grant opportunities, regulations, and best practices in the field of community behavioral health.
    Complete OIG investigator training within first three months of employment.

Education and/or Licensure Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in grant writing, management, or related roles, preferably in a behavioral health or nonprofit setting.
  • Strong knowledge of grant proposal processes, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software..
  • Working Conditions: The position may require occasional evening or weekend hours for events or deadlines.

Salary Range:

  • $60,000-$67,000
