POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Training Coordinator II will support our solar construction operations within the Solar Energy division. The primary focus for this position is to execute behind-the-scenes operations that keep our solar construction training programs running smoothly, hence contributing to making an impact primarily on our Solar field-based employees and other work groups that support our 'Field First' rally cry. The Training Coordinator II will have demonstrated success working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and support activities such as training logistics, data management, and technology systems. This role will support administering our Learning Management System (LMS), specifically Workday Learning. Additionally, the Training Coordinator II will generate regular and ad hoc reports providing data analysis to help the training team make informed decisions and continuously improve our programs. Attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role. The Training Coordinator II will also collaborate closely with all Training & Development department peers supporting their efforts and must have ability to communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • LMS Administration

    • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS): enroll users, update course content, assign training, and troubleshoot advanced technical issues.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, certifications, and compliance documentation. Significant data entry may be required.

    • Generate and individually analyze reports on training participation, completion rates, compliance status, and other key metrics to identify trends or correct issues.

    • Monitor and track training deadlines, sending reminders and follow-ups as needed

  • Training Operations and Support

    • Provide timely learner support and troubleshooting assistance to field learners and office staff regarding training access, LMS navigation, and course requirements.

    • Collaborate with Training Specialists, Content Developers, Training Managers, and Directors to support the planning and execution of training initiatives.

    • Respond to requests for training documentation.

    • Execute logistical coordination to support training events. Some training delivery may be required

  • Interpersonal and Problem Solving

    • Works independently with general supervision

    • May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices

    • Problems faced are difficult but not complex

  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in training coordination, LMS administration, data analysis or a related field

  • BS/BA in Business or equivalent is highly preferred

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong computer skills

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) [preferred, not required]

  • Demonstrated ability to generate, analyze, and present data and reports

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate at all levels

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Self-directed, motivated individual contributor willing to learn new skills when necessary

  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and remain effective in production and creativity

  • Must be engaging and demonstrate strong professional presence

  • Must have great attitude in working with the Moss team

  • Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish [preferred] or English/Haitian Creole)
