Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Responsibilities for this Position

Position: Advanced Technical Training Specialist 2
Function: Customer Technical Training
Security Clearance: Secret or higher required
Travel Requirements: FREQUENT - 50% or more

Overview:
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality technical training? As an Advanced Technical Training Specialist, you will deliver technical product training programs to military audiences. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a knack for making complex topics engaging and accessible, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical, task-based product training to military customers and government employees at military installations.
  • Instruct customer and user personnel in both classroom and hands-on settings.
  • Validate technical training courses and materials.
  • Update course materials to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure training content reflects current product features.
  • Interact with customers to adhere to course specifications and manage budgets and schedules.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and provide development recommendations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and lead instructor when needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently. Travel can range from 50% to 80%.
  • Expertise in facilitating technical, task-based training courses to adult audiences.
  • Professional, customer-focused demeanor.
  • Proficiency in installing and maintaining relevant hardware and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address learning challenges.
  • Expertise in using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for training material production.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of training processes, interactive multimedia technologies, and equipment.
  • Strong networking skills within and outside your area of expertise.



Target salary range: USD $93,771.00/Yr. - USD $101,464.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
