Description

    Under general supervision, designing and developing training and educational programs to meet technical training needs and problems
  • Analyzing training needs and defining learning objectives aligned with organizational goals
  • Designing and developing comprehensive curricula, lesson plans, and instructional materials for various delivery methods (e.g., online, in-person, blended)
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructors, and engineers to ensure content accuracy and relevance
  • Reviewing and revising existing curricula based on feedback and assessment data
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and learner feedback, making adjustments as needed
  • Performing work in a mostly clean and comfortable environment, while in a seated position with freedom to move about at will; to avoid injury while performing this job requires ordinary care and attention

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Training certification
  • Eight (8) years of experience in a technical trade or craft such as electricity, electronics, surveying, aircraft or ship fundamentals, to include: developing appropriate course material, hands on practical experience with techniques being taught, researching latest technical discipline practices, establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives, and developing training programs


Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, curriculum development, or related field
  • Master's preferred
  • Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational content creation
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with students from foreign militaries
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as electrical schematics, drawings, technical manuals and OEM manuals


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL



Travel Requirements

  • Extensive travel may be required to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to teach course to Royal Saudi Naval Forces
