The Director, Product Management for Tableau Next is responsible for leading the product vision and strategy for Tableau Next visualizations. You will have a unique opportunity to help define the future vision of the worlds #1 leading data analysis platform! This role will work closely with engineering, design, and other product teams to deliver a world-class, agentic analytics product that is deeply integrated into the Salesforce and Data Cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product vision and strategy for Tableau Next
  • Work with engineering, design, and other product teams to deliver a world-class analytics product
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to gather feedback and ensure that Tableau Next meets their needs
  • Manage the product roadmap and ensure that Tableau Next is aligned with the overall Salesforce product strategy
  • Develop and execute marketing and communication plans for Tableau Next
  • Track and measure the success of Tableau Next and make adjustments as needed

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Expert level skill building visualizations and dashboards in Tableau
  • Strong foundational knowledge of concepts like marks, table calcs, parameters, and actions.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise BI projects
  • Knowledge of visualization best practices
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or similar field, with a focus on analytics products
  • Proven track record of leading, driving consensus, and delivering successful products
  • A working knowledge of Agents, LLMs, and related concepts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to deliver amazing product demos, and communicate a clear product vision
  • Extremely motivated and self driven

Nice to have Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Data Cloud and AgentForce platforms
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform concepts like Lightning Pages, Actions, Flow, MDAPI, packaging, Experience Cloud, etc.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce development lifecycle concepts like sandbox, dev, and scratch orgs, packaging, and MDAPI
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Analytics products like Operational Analytics, CRMA, Datorama, or Marketing Cloud Intelligence
  • Experience managing product or building analytics, BI, or ML based solutions

Additional Information:

  • This position is based in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA with some travel required
  • Remote candidates can be considered with willingness to work in the Pacific time zone.
  • Tableau Next is a rapidly growing product, and this role will play a key role in its success
