Under the direction of The Foundation at MCCC Executive Director, the Director of Development and Major Gifts is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individuals, organizations, private foundations and businesses/corporations in Major Gift fundraising activities of The Foundation. Develops and implements strategies for cultivating relationships, matching college projects and needs with donor interests, researching donor capacity and donor interrelationships with MCCC supporters, volunteers and staff. Qualifications include a Masters degree in communications, public relations, business administration, or related field; and minimum 5 years of experience in development; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
