The Opportunity

The BIM Developer and Content Specialist will help drive digital transformation at Ulteig as part of our Design Automation Team. In this role, you'll be a part of the cross-project innovation and development team at Ulteig, working outside project teams to create intelligent automation tools that leverage a data-centric design ecosystem to enhance how our project teams design and document solutions. Your work will directly support our shift toward smarter, faster, and more collaborative engineering practices.

What You'll Do

Implementation & Workflow Development



  • Engage with project design teams to identify opportunities for Revit-based workflow improvements.
  • Develop and deploy custom tools and content using Python, C#, and JS/TS.
  • Leverage visual scripting to iterate and prototype concepts.
  • Create and maintain a custom pyRevit toolbar across disciplines and teams.
  • Think and develop beyond Revit, our tools leverage external data sources (e.g., Excel, databases, APIs).
  • Maintain and follow best practices in version control, testing, modularity, and documentation.


      Content Creation & Management



      • Design and manage integrations to complex, parametric Revit families and system components.
      • Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, services, and content libraries across disciplines and design teams and ensure alignment with company standards.
      • Propose and implement QA/QC processes for content validation and updates.
      • Propose and launch optimization measures for tool performance, usability, and scalability across disciplines.



        Innovation & Support



        • Evaluate, test, and propose new tools and project delivery related software and technologies to enhance productivity and project performance in alignment with design team priorities.
        • Support rollout, adoption, and change management - including onboarding, training sessions, and hands-on user support.
        • Actively engage in feedback cycles with end users to iterate on tools and content and track measurable ROI on automation.
        • Maintain alignment with evolving design team needs by continuously learning about project delivery methods, domain challenges, and user pain points.
        • Additional duties may include tasks beyond what is listed, such as special projects, assisting colleagues, or new initiatives. A willingness to adapt to changing priorities and support team efforts enhances collaboration and growth opportunities.



          What We Expect from You



          • Associate's degree in tech-related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
          • 5+ years of demonstratable Python, C#, and JS/TS development experience.
          • Advanced proficiency working with Revit API, visual scripting, pyRevit or other custom add-in development.
          • Advanced proficiency in aligning and optimizing parametric Revit families and system components.
          • Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud and Autodesk Platform Services.
          • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
          • Experience with agile environments, documentation, and team collaboration tools in Azure DevOps.
          • Demonstrates a growth mindset by actively seeking opportunities to learn, adapt, and improve processes, tools, and personal skills in a rapidly evolving digital design environment.
          • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

                Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $76,800 - $103,900
                * Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
