Medical Assistant Pediatrics Silver Spring, MD/Rockville MD MUST: Experienced Registered or Certified Medical Assistant 1+ years of experience as a medical assistant in a pediatric medical office Administering injections Performing various clinical tests and exams DUTIES: The Certfiied or Registered Medical Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Take direction from Clinical Director Triage and room patients Perform nursing procedures under supervision providers Assist providers in exam rooms Obtain vitals and histories Document and update patient information in EMR Provide patient education and instructions to patients Ensure all related reports, labs and information is uploaded to EMR records prior to appointments Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies and instruments Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.) Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
