Are you an organized, fast-moving professional with a strong background in manufacturing operations? Staffmark is hiring a Production Expeditor to join an industry-leading aerospace and steel forging facility in South Gate, CA. Hours & Pay

Pay Range: $21 - $31 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays



  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM OR 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM


Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

What You'll Be Doing



  • Maintain schedules and materials to ensure on-time, safe, and efficient production
  • Monitor team performance and support adherence to production timelines
  • Provide operational feedback to supervisors and collaborate with department leads
  • Transport jobs and paperwork between departments using a forklift or material handling support
  • Help organize marshalling areas, maintain departmental cleanliness, and promote 6S improvements
  • Assist other departments by preparing parts, organizing incoming materials, and retrieving tools
  • Keep track of job progress, resolve flow issues, and ensure production runs smoothly

What You'll Bring to the Table



  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain standing for extended periods
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, measurements, and job documentation
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience with forklifts and understanding of plant workflow
  • A proactive, organized approach to maintaining production efficiency
