Job Summary

James Avery is seeking a Temporary Recruiter for up to a 6-month assignment to provide essential support with recruiting efforts for our Manufacturing facilities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:



  • Help manage the candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Recruit and hire qualified candidates to fill technical job vacancies in a timely manner and ensure an effortless onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and participate in interviews.
  • Communicate with candidates and hiring managers promptly and professionally.
  • Strive to exceed customer and client expectations, using best practice methods.
  • Assist candidates and hiring managers with questions and guidance regarding the recruitment process.
  • Document the hiring process accurately and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Ensure new hire contingencies are completed according to company policy.
  • Coordinate with Compensation, Payroll, and HR Teams regarding job offers and hiring.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with and receiving sensitive information.
  • Provide team support with various assignments and perform additional duties as assigned by Leadership.


WHAT IS REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 2 years' experience in high volume recruiting or similar work experience.
  • Familiarity with relevant state and federal employment laws related to recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with effective collaboration with hiring managers and business partners.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage a high volume of candidates and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and professionally address/handle urgent requests.
  • Ability to travel to work locations and various recruiting events as business need requires.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), such as UKG or similar systems.
  • Retail and Manufacturing recruiting experience.
