I. JOB OVERVIEW
Job Description Summary: |
The Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service aims to integrate civic engagement into George Washington University's educational work. One way we engage local needs is through the ongoing service program, Math Matters. Math Matters is a high-impact math tutoring program that recruits and trains college students and community volunteers to tutor middle school students in low-income neighborhoods. Through a school-aligned curriculum, Math Matters students develop the math skills and confidence they need for future academic achievement. Reporting to the Math Matters Program Manager, the Program Associate will work with the Program Manager on tasks associated with day-to-day operations, assessment, and evaluation of the Math Matters program.

- Analyze program feedback and high-impact tutoring best practices to suggest program improvements.
