Snowflake is seeking a Principal Recruiter to drive Senior Principal and Director+ recruiting for our engineering organization. This role will focus on identifying and attracting senior-level engineering talent while partnering closely with leadership to build high-performing teams. The position requires a strategic mindset and deep expertise in technical recruiting to help shape the future of our engineering organization. The ideal candidate will be able to create outcomes across the engineering organization by driving visibility, deep leader partnership and strong candidate attraction and activation strategies.

IN THIS ROLE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
  • Partner with and drive engineering leadership to attract and evaluate senior-level technical talent

  • Develop and execute comprehensive senior talent acquisition strategies including senior candidate pipeline management across the global engineering team

  • Lead and mentor recruiting teams and drive urgency and outcomes with senior hiring leaders

  • Provide data-driven recruiting insights and details updates that drive broad access and visibility

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
  • 10+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience with at least 5 years working on engineering leadership and principal / fellow /DE hiring

  • Strong understanding of AI and modern software engineering practices

  • Extensive network within the technology industry

  • Experience partnering with senior executives and leadership teams

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor recruiting professionals

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $171,000 - $243,600.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
