Machinist

Staffmark is hiring a Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team in Warsaw, IN. If you have machining experience and are looking for a night shift opportunity with excellent pay and benefits, this could be the right fit for you.

Pay: $28.75/hour

Schedule: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM | Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Perform layout, machining, fitting, and assembly using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
• Adjust NC (Numerical Control) programs as needed for accuracy
• Conduct quality checks using statistical and control procedures
• Support general production operations such as assembly, packaging, inventory, or shipping
• Report equipment malfunctions and assist with improving operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of machinist or relevant manufacturing experience
• Vocational or technical training preferred
• Comfortable with shop math, blueprint reading, and using precision measuring tools
• Familiar with manufacturing safety protocols and production systems
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• May assist in mentoring or guiding newer employees
