The VxRail Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of VxRail systems for one of our government clients in the DC area. This role involves working closely with IT teams to ensure the efficient operation and optimal performance of VxRail infrastructure, contributing significantly to enterprise virtualization and storage solutions.

• System Design and Implementation: Develop, configure, and deploy VxRail clusters to meet business needs and technical requirements.
• Maintenance and Monitoring: Regularly monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure continuous operation.
• Technical Support: Provide advanced support for VxRail systems, including diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation on system configurations, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals, including network engineers and system administrators, to integrate VxRail with other infrastructure components.
• Training: Train and support IT staff on the use and management of VxRail systems.
• Upgrades and Optimization: Plan and execute system upgrades, and implement optimization strategies to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Security: Ensure that VxRail systems are secure and comply with organizational security policies and standards.

• Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with specific experience in VxRail or similar hyper-converged systems.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies, storage solutions, and VxRail configuration and maintenance.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Dell EMC certifications in VxRail are highly desirable.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite at the Washington, DC client location.
